About

Elizabeth Grove School is part of the Elizabeth Grove Community Campus which consists of Government and Non-Government Agencies catering for the education and health needs of families. These services include childcare, pre-school, junior primary and primary school. We have access to community, social and family workers and run adult education and parenting courses on site. Our school motto – ‘Your Caring Neighbourhood School’ is underpinned by strong values of respect and honesty. The school community values people’s strengths and this ensures that everyone works together to foster a sense of belonging and commitment. Kids “n” You Family services is also on campus and works with mothers from before the birth of their babies up until their child is three years of age. The school has a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy. Staff have undertaken further study in numeracy and literacy in order to deliver a curriculum that meets the individual needs of all students. We have a holistic view of education and provide a range of extra curricular activities around sport and the arts as well as programmes in our before and after school care so that student potential is fully explored. Early intervention is another area we value. Speech, psychology and occupational therapy services are available in the childcare/preschool and this is followed through into the early years of school. We have rising numbers of students from a range of diverse cultures with Aboriginal and African being the fastest growing at this point in time.
