We were invited to share how we have worked as a community to create a Trauma Informed School with other schools in South Australia.

At Elizabeth Grove Primary School we work to create a safe, predictable and nurturing learning environment. Our aim is to provide a safe space for students to learn and flourish! We recognise that our responses to trauma and its effect on children and young people needs to be sensitive to their experiences. We aim to support students in their learning, allow them to learn skills to moderate their behaviours and most importantly we value supportive and positive relationships.
